The War on the Unborn

Feminism has ruined America. Not by itself, mind you, but God will soon curse our nation, if he hasn't already, for the blatant disregard for his ways. This post will talk specifically about one aspect of the effect of feminism- abortion, or the murder of children before they are born naturally.

The reason my first statement is about feminism is because people who preach about "women's rights" see abortion as one of these rights. I have heard many arguments for why abortion is okay such as: "It's the woman's body, she can do what she wants with it" "A baby would ruin her life right now" "She was a victim of rape" "The baby is unwanted" "It's not even a baby yet" "The baby has a birth defect" "It's for the safety of the mother" and I'm sure others I have not heard.

You must understand the basic roots of feminism to really understand the ProChoice movement. Both are centered around selfish ambition, and the ProChoice appeals to our own selfish human nature in asking women, "Is now a good time for you?" In reality, this question is being asked too late. The appropriate time for this question is before sexual intercourse. This question is also deceitful because the true question they are asking is not, "Are you ready to be a mother?" as she becomes one the moment she conceives. The Pro-Choice advocates are really asking, "Now that you are a mother, do you want your child to be carried to term and born alive or do you want to end the child's life prematurely?" And as far as rape goes, the only person I would even think about murdering is the rapist, not the baby! The fact is, murder is murder.

Here's the reason I think all abortion is wrong:
1. Murder is wrong
2. At THE moment of conception, the sperm and egg become human life.
3. Killing human life is murder.

I think everyone agrees with "1" and "3," the hang up is "2." So you might ask, "how do I know that conception starts human life?" ... My answer? ... Science.

First, let's look at what science classifies as "life."

- an organismic state characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction.

I remember this from biology class in high school. And a fertilized egg definitely meets the requirements to be considered life (I asked a biologist just to make sure). It is also much more the a mere skin cell or hair cell; what goes on during and after fertilization is very complicated and wondrous.

I also remember that humans have 46 chromosomes. Sperm and eggs both only have 23, and when the unite they fuse together forming a new human. Which simply means a zygote is human.

Now, I am not saying that this new human can feel or even think, but I do believe that human life is sacred and it would be wrong to destroy it, even at an early developmental stage such as this.

Another objection I have to abortion has to do with not wanting children. Children are a blessing from God, the Bible is clear about that. God also commands us to be fruitful and multiply. But more then that, the Bible shows us that we should love children. Jesus was interrupted by children, who his disciples tried to get rid of, but Jesus made time for them. We are also told to take care of the fatherless, the orphans. My heart breaks when couples don't want to have children yet, but words cannot describe how I feel when people choose to have sex, yet don't want a baby, and then chooses to discard the precious gift as if it were their own feces in a toilet.

This was taken from a blog, you can find it at http://www.prochoice.org/blog/index.html

"I am 17 years old, married to an amazing guy, and I chose to have an abortion. I chose to have an
abortion because, while children are wonderful, I hope to be able to give my children more than I could dream of now. I plan to go to college, get a degree and hopefully open my own business. I want to be able to go to a career day at my child’s school, be proud of what I’ve done with my life, and be able to go to sleep at night not worried about how I’m going to pay a hospital bill from when I was 17. Children deserve the best things in life. They truly are our future. My baby would deserve too many things that I can’t provide right now, including all the love in the world. Someday I will be a mom, and I believe I will be an amazing parent when the time is right."

First, it wouldn't surprise me if this statement was altered to fit the pro-choice agenda; however, this woman is outstandingly hypocritical! She says children deserve the best things in life... I can barely type the words they are so obvious, THE CHILD DESERVES IT'S LIFE!! She stole the baby's life. She chose to get married, yet was stupid enough to think she wouldn't get pregnant? She's going to waste her life getting herself "ready" to have children. The feminist movement has succeeded in telling women that a child is a burden and that it is necessary for her to accomplish/acquire worldly success and riches before having a child for her own self worth. The movement tells women that there is nothing significant or lasting about mothers who raise their children at home, that TRUE achievement only comes from a career and sense of self. Only then (like mentioned in the above quote) would a child be proud to bring their mother to show off at school.

Sadly, many married Christians are not "ready" for babies. I anguish over the thought of our culture's view of children and can really only pray (and blog) that it will change.

Free Women

Genesis 2:20 The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him.

Women everywhere in America now do every type of job there is to do, from teacher to fireman, from doctor to governor, with much success. There has been a massive exodus of women leaving their homes to move into the workplace. Could this be freedom?

Everything that God created has a hierarchy to it, from the angels to any pack of animals. Human beings are not excluded from a God ordained order of headship and submission. What happens in a pack if one of the animals leaves to live on its own? The pack will no longer be able to hunt as efficiently or defend itself. What happens to the animal who has left? If he can survive at all, he is not nearly as safe or well fed. There is no one to watch over him while he sleeps; there is no one to help him take down bigger animals for food. It is a difficult life to say the least.

I believe that this can be applied to what happens when the mother of the house leaves to go work. Obviously, it's not exactly the same, but just as God made pack animals to live in packs, God made women to be helpers to men. Women have an extremely important role to play in the family. Without her the family becomes broken, you cannot raise your children if you are not there, and the husband does not get the many benefits that come from his wife's being able and willing to help him in his role as leader.

All of this comes down to submission. There is protection in submission to authority. Every time God tells a person or persons to submit, he then tells the head (leader or master) to love those under him and to treat them well.

There are many different life applications that can come from an understanding of submission. But these two are what seem to be most lacking in America today.

1. Submission to parents
2. Submission to husbands

My wife and I have come to see that girls need to be protected from the world. And sadly, most parents send their daughters off to college where they can no longer be watched over and cared for. God has clearly made women to be under authority. This is why scripture warns so often to protect and provide for the fatherless and the widows, because they have no protection or provision. Those with fathers or husbands have providers and protectors. If daughters go off to college or into the work force, they are either no longer under authority or they submit to the authority of another. Eph 5:22-24 says, "“Wives, submit to your own husbands." It does not permit for wives to submit to another woman's husband, which is what a woman does in the workplace where her boss is a married man.

Somehow, we have come to think that it is good for our girls to go and live by themselves. But that would leave women without a head, and if anything, the bible teaches that women only leave their fathers because they get married (Genesis 24 and 28, Judges 1:12-13, Exodus 22:17, 1 Samuel 17:25, 18:20-21).

God has convicted us about these things. If you are mad after reading this, search the scriptures for yourself, and see if God does not convict you also.

Obama Love?

Barack Hussein Obama is a socialist. No one knows for sure what drives him, but I believe most socialists have good intentions. People who advocate socialist type views, seem to think love is the reason and the purpose of social programs. I have more than one objection to these views, but the biggest one for me is the stark lack of love.

Jesus commands us to love God and to love others. Doing these two things are the most important parts of Christianity. All of the Bible's laws and teachings hinge on us loving God and our neighbor.

Love is a verb. You must show love. An example of this is the early church. The book of Acts is more or less the history of the church shortly after Christ raises from the dead. Sadly, the church back then looks much different that it does today. Everyone seemed to know by instinct how to love each other.

Giving is not only good for the receiver, but it also greatly (perhaps more so) helps the giver. In the book of 1 Kings, there is a story of Elijah who was God's prophet. God told Elijah to go to Zarephath where he had command a widow to feed Elijah. He went to Zarephath and told to widow to give him food, and the widow explained that she had enough for one more meal for her son and herself, then she was going to die. Elijah tells the widow that God will provide, and she then makes him food first before making food for herself. And indeed God does provide.

The great thing about this story is that God could have used any means to feed Elijah, but because this widow gave, while trusting God, she lived much longer.

Social programs takes love out of the equation by stealing money from those who have plenty, and distributing it to those who can fill out a form and wait in line. This only results in those who are getting their money taken being angry, and those who are getting become lazy and dependent on the government. And worst of all, it prevents God from working in people's lives.

The "Science" of Evolution

What does the theory of evolution have to do with science? Does that sound like an odd question? Well, consider this: Science requires certain things before you may call something science.

For example, miracles. Science will never prove miracles happen. Because in order to qualify to be a "miracle," it must only happen on the extreme side of rare (more cases than not, they only happen once!).

So of course, you cannot do any sort of examination of a miracle, the only way to prove one happened, is to look at the after math of a miracle (ie someone being cured of cancer with out explanation). Even then, it takes faith to believe in such a thing.

So, what does it take for something to qualify as science? There are steps! These steps must be taken, and they are called "the Scientific Method!" This method calls for collecting evidence, creating a hypothesis, forming an experiment, are repeating the experiment 1 billion times... give or take.

Now then, back to evolution. But before I go on, let me explain what I mean by "evolution."
1. New species coming from others species (man from ape)
2. New life coming from nothing (idiocy)

Technically, evolution is not the latter (2), but for our purposes in this post, that's what I mean.

Okay, now to my point. There is little to no evidence of evolution. Many people interpret collected fossils as evidence of evolution, but I say (along with Bible believing scientists) that fossils point to a sudden appearance of all life coming on Earth at the same time!

But perhaps the most important negative for the "hypothesis" of evolution, is there are no experiments that can be repeated to prove or disprove it. Evolution has never been witnessed, and if it did ever happen (and happened also to be witnessed), it's so rare that it cannot be observed over and over again. Therefore, "evolution" must be reclassified as a miracle, which takes faith to believe in!

G'vnmet and Lies

The Obama administration is upset about AIG giving bonuses to executives. Mr. Hussein, aka BO, aka Barry, aka Mr. President, and his administration are the idiots who signed into law that AIG could give these bonuses to whomever. Now they are mad at AIG! Just like when the government told banks to give loans to poor people who couldn't afford them, and when the crap hit the fan, the same government got mad at the banks! Such hypocrisy is unbelievable. They cause the problem, then they want to "fix" it by doing things that will likely cause more harm then good.

Barry's administration said they found out this month (March) that AIG was giving big bonuses to executives. Maybe they should read the bills before they vote, and B "Hussein" O should likewise read them before he signs them into law. I thought George Bush was bad, but this is ridiculous.

A Welcome Statement

I am conservative. I think government is ruining our country. I think republicans have sucked, and will continue to suck, which is why I voted Constitution Party in 2008. I am not sure time exists. If it does, I think God can move through it. I am a bad speller. I believe that global climate change (global warming for you alarmists) was not and is not caused by humans. I believe abortion is wrong. I continue to learn. I believe many other things I will talk about with this web log, such as: it's late, and I'm going to sleep.

G' night,
